Bay Laurel Wedding + Events was honored to be a part of Preston and Landry’s dream day “vow renewal” come to life. We partnered with Historic 1904, the beautiful and unique venue located in Menard, TX. This endearing single room church on the western edge of the Texas Hill Country is a premier wedding venue. This venue is perfect to create a sense of intimacy, beauty, and joy.
Preston and Landry were high school sweethearts and married in February of 2015 in the Bahamas. They made a promise to love each other for the rest of their days. Six years later, with two babies in hand, two home remodels under their belt, and a few job changes, they decided to renew their wedding vows. Knowing the traditionally, warm “West Texas May afternoons” we wanted to pull in the warmth through bright pops of color with our florals and design elements. Touches of peach, blush and greenery, contrasted beautifully with the pure white and deep rich wood colors of the interior of Historic 1904. Landry was styled in Bridal Boutique’s Marlow dress, a romantic princess styled dress designed by Soterro and Midgely. This dress beaded from top to bottom with tiny crystals and dainty floral lace, is both sophisticated and dreamy, fitting perfectly with the aesthetic of our vintage styled garden wedding. Preston wore a classic black tux from Bridal Boutique which worked perfectly with the timeless feel of their vow renewal.
Julie Elisabeth Photography, Boheme Films and Avery Alexandra Photography captured the beauty of this couple’s love and vow renewal.
